Meet Board-Certified Oral Surgeon Michael Whitcomb, DMD, MD, in Dallas, TX
Dr. Whitcomb completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, where he played Division I lacrosse. He then attended Boston University for dental school and graduated as the valedictorian of his class. He next received his medical degree and completed a 6-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR.
Dr. Whitcomb has collaborated on several publications in oral and maxillofacial surgery and presented his research at national meetings. He enjoys the challenges presented by all aspects of oral and facial problems, but truly loves working with his patients to achieve their desired goals. Through his educational endeavors and extensive training, Dr. Whitcomb is well-positioned to deliver excellent, comprehensive oral and maxillofacial care.
When not attending to his patients, Dr. Whitcomb and his wife, Emily, enjoy spending time outdoors with their son, William, and daughter, Eleanor.
