Meet the Staff


Ann

Winner of the 2009 Burning Rubber Award

NTFOS proudly welcomed Ann to the practice in 2008. Patients will notice that Ann’s many talents, honed through previous experience as an office manager in the healthcare field, include smoothly guiding them through the financial aspects of reaching their treatment goals. Ann’s genius for explaining complex information in a clear manner is a boon for patients and staff alike. Outside of work, she enjoys playing games and relaxing with her fiance James, daughters Angel, Kristian and Faith, and son, Matthew. She also enjoys working out and reading.


Brie

 

Always upbeat, Brie immediately places patients at ease while performing her duties as a Surgical Assistant. Her love of people and commitment to healthcare is evidenced by her previous careers which included work as an audiology tech, nurse tech and martial arts instructor. The special people in Brie’s life include her parents, siblings, nephew Vincent, and husband John. She is a black belt in martial arts, enjoys finger-painting and is very involved with church activities and community outreach programs.


Carrie

Carrie brings twelve years of executive assistant / office management experience to NTFOS. She uses this experience and her training in insurance billing and coding to help patients complete their treatment while maximizing their insurance savings. Carrie spends her free time with her family, friends, and pet cat Cali. She also enjoys volunteering at church and CCA, and traveling wherever there is a beach. She would love to live in Hawaii!


Christina

 

As a CPR-certified Registered Dental Assistant, Christina is a skillful member of the NTFOS surgical team who previously worked in retail while attending school full time. Christina energetically optimizes patient care by being with patients from the moment they walk in the door until they complete their treatment in the office or hospital. Outside of work, Christina loves vacationing with her family (and dogs Rascall and Kane) in the Colorado Mountains, helping at her Grandpa’s ranch, horseback riding and playing on 4-wheelers. Close to her family and good with her hands, Christina also enjoys helping her Dad do mechanic work on trucks.


Cindy

 

Winner of the 2008 Knocked Yourself Out Award

Cindy joined NTFOS in 2003 after completing her Bachelor of Arts in History. Her accomplishments in the practice landed her in the position of Patient Accounts Coordinator, where she is the NTFOS quarterback of patient accounts. Patients find a knowledgeable advocate when they call Cindy for help. She enjoys supporting our local sporting teams, including the Stars, Cowboys, and Rangers. Cindy also has a passion for travel, including visiting historical sites in the US and abroad.


Diedra

 

Winner of the 2007 Golden Knot Award

A Medical Assistant, Diedra is also a registered Dental Assistant and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and nitrous oxide monitoring. In addition, she has completed the AAOMS anesthesia assisting program. Diedra’s addition to the NTFOS team in 2000 was after spending time as a teacher in a daycare, where she “could spend all day with them”. Diedra’s hobbies include reading, planning for parties, writing, and spending time with her husband Danny, son Isaiah, daughter Elizabeth, and dog Jr.


Elizabeth


Having spent many years in the mortgage and credit industry, Elizabeth (Liz) is talented at helping patients navigate through their financial options. Patients love the way she clarifies insurance information so it’s easy for them to make informed decisions. Elizabeth has a passion for singing, writing songs, watching movies and spending time with family (including children Bianca and Christian) and friends. She frequently volunteers at her church’s bookstore. The next time you’re in Grapevine, ask Liz about the relaxed beach lifestyle she enjoyed during her five years in Guam.


Faushia

Winner of the 2007 Megaphone Award

Faushia has eight years of healthcare industry experience in insurance and finance, which she puts to good use by making each patient visit a delightful event. Her career interest and training in customer service are her “way of life”. Faushia’s free time is spent with her husband Bobby,their beautiful daughter Grace, extended family, friends and their adorable cat Minxi. She also enjoys her spin class, shoe shopping, walking for fundraisers and events at her church.



Jalah

 

Winner of the 2009 High Jump Award

Jalah graciously delivers good old fashioned Texas hospitality as she helps patients attend to the scheduling and financial details of completing their treatment. Her genuine love of life touches many people, including those from her previous careers in related industries. Jalah has a passion for outdoor activities, including watching sports, shopping and traveling. When not spending time with her family (parents David and Bernice and boyfriend Steve), she dotes on her two cats, Boudreaux and Petite. Jalah, who works in our Keller office, enthusiastically looks forward to serving your needs.


Jamie


Jamie is an experienced Surgical Assistant who has worked in oral surgery since 2005. Education is a priority for Jamie, who is a Registered Dental Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant and CPR and nitrous oxide certified. Jamie enjoys spending time with her nieces Kaley and Katelyn, as well as, her talented husband, Josh, who is pursuing a career as a vocalist. Aside from expanding her frog collection, Jamie loves to work out, go on bike rides, shop and spend time with her extended family and close friends.


Jill

When Jill, a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant, joined NTFOS in 1995, she was already enjoying a successful career in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Among her notable achievements include certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and nitrous oxide monitoring. Jill has also completed the AAOMS anesthesia assisting program. Jill’s special interest in implants makes her a great source of information for patients who wish to achieve their dental implant goals. When not working, Jill enjoys reading and spending time with her husband Ray, daughter Ashley and family pet, Bandit.


Julie

Julie, a BLS-certified Registered Dental Assistant and Medical Assistant, is a skillful member of the NTFOS surgical team who previously worked in cardiology and gynecology. As a mother of four (Cole, Kristin, Brian and Blade), Julie has that special nurturing touch patients of all ages appreciate. Julie and her family love ball games, cooking out, water skiing, fishing and spending time at the lake. She also enjoys walking, donating her time at a recent 5k vision walk.


Kari

Kari joined the NTFOS team as a Surgical Assistant after two years of experience in the healthcare field. She is a registered Medical and Dental Assistant who quietly contributes to patient care with tender kindness. She and son, Tatum, together with their extended family, love team sports, including basketball, volleyball, and softball. They also enjoy attending events at their church.


Kathie

Patients visiting the Grapevine office are greeted by Kathie and comment on her exceptionally warm and welcoming personality. Kathie spends much of her free time bringing happiness to others through her music and her church’s worship team. Before joining NTFOS, she spent three years in ministry leadership training and prior to that she worked at a pediatric dental office. Kathie visits her family in Colorado and New Mexico whenever time allows. She loves traveling and can’t wait to see the world doing mission work!


Kathy

Winner of the 2009 Harmony Award

Kathy moved to Texas in 1985 after gradating from Hawkeye Institute in Iowa, which included an internship in oral surgery assisting. She has been passionately helping oral surgery patients for 30 years!  Kathy is certified in basic life support and is an AAOMS Certified Anesthesia Assistant. Away from work, Kathy enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her husband, Randy and their beautiful daughter, Whitney.


Kelley

Kelley, a Registered Dental Assistant, has been a valuable part of the NTFOS family since February 2005. After she and her husband, Doug, welcomed Kylie, their “Miracle Baby Blessing from God”, Kelley returned and has been helping renew patient smiles through her position as Implant Treatment Coordinator. Kelley also touches people’s lives away from work by leading worship music at her church. She writes music and will soon release a Christian contemporary CD. Obviously Kelley is very busy, but she can sometimes make time to mountain bike, shop, and travel.


Lisa

Lisa joined NTFOS in 1996 and has earned numerous career milestones since then. She’s a registered Dental Assistant and she’s certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life support, and nitrous oxide monitoring. She also completed the AAOMS anesthesia assistant training program. Lisa uses her extensive training to help patients achieve their dental implant goals.When not at work, Lisa and her husband, Bear, treasure spending time with their sweet little blessing Kayli.


Michelle

A recent graduate with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Michelle decided she wanted a career caring for people in the medical field; so she earned her RDA and joined the NTFOS team. Michelle’s service values have brought her the trust of coworkers, referring offices and patients alike. Michelle enjoys spending time with her parents, sister, Ashley, and boyfriend, Jonathan. She stays active by working out, playing ping-pong, and having fun outdoors. Michelle also likes movies, reading, shopping and traveling.


Sharon

Winner of the 2008 Heartfelt Thanks Award

Sharon joined NTFOS in 2000 after over eleven years as an Administrative Secretary with Baylor, where she honed her skills in guest relations. She continues her love of customer service by working with our patients and referring offices to make certain their OMS needs are met. Sharon’s passion is reading/writing and volunteering at her church. In her free time, Sharon loves spending time with her children and granddaughter and keeping up with their many activities. Sharon is famous for her “Grand-dad’s Dip”. Ask her for the recipe if you’re in the Keller office.


Stephanie

Stephanie honed her superior first-class customer service skills while working in her family’s business.  Patients notice her friendliness and hospitality, which puts them at ease the moment they walk through the door.  Stephanie loves spending time with her niece, Macy and nephews Jamie, Drue and Gabe.  Her other interests include reading good books (which keep her awake at night), wakeboarding, getting pedicures and crocheting soon-to-be family heirlooms. 


Susan Strittmatter

Susan’s career as a Practice Manager began shortly after she graduated from USM with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She has worked in several surgical specialties and feels she’s found her home in oral and maxillofacial surgery since joining NTFOS in 2000. When not working or furthering her education, Susan spends her time volunteering, enjoying the arts, relaxing with her family, gardening, and traveling.


Wendy

Winner of the 2008 Rose To The Occasion Award

Wendy joined the NTFOS team as an Insurance Specialist after a distinguished career in the mortgage banking industry. Patients appreciate Wendy’s attention to detail as she helps them maximize their insurance benefits. She and her husband, Charles, enjoy spending time with their two daughters, Lauren and Kaylea, as well as their mini dachshunds, Maggie and Macy. Wendy also enjoys decorating, shopping and working with the children at her family church.


Whitney

Whitney’s love of the healthcare field began during her time spent as a pharmacy technician. She joined NTFOS shortly after completing her education and becoming a Registered Dental Assistant. As an NTFOS Surgical Assistant, Whitney’s contribution assures that patients receive the standard of care she would want for her daughter, Alyssa. When not working, Whitney, her fiance Lucas and Alyssa enjoy many outdoor activities, including family cookouts, camping, and fishing.
