David K. Hunter, D.D.S.

David K. Hunter, D.D.S. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Grapevine, Irving, Keller, and the Northern Texas areaDr. Hunter is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Association and American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. After obtaining his bachelors degree as a student athlete at Sam Houston State University, he then received his doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry while a member of the honor society. He served his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Hunter is past president of the North Texas Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and annually participates in medical mission trips to Ecuador. He is a certified instructor and actively teaches Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and a former instructor of Pediatric Advanced Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association. He has been recognized by his peers and nominated by several regional magazines as a leading oral maxillofacial surgeon.

Dr. Hunter dedicates much of his time to charitable organizations and is active in his community. He and his wife Kathy have four children, and when not at work can be found spending time with them. Dr. Hunter enjoys most outdoor activities, and coaching children’s sports.

Dr. Hunter has been nominated by his peers as one of the premier surgeons in his field and has been featured in Texas Monthly Magazine, Fort Worth Texas Magazine and D Magazine.
